September 8, 2021

Meeting was called to order by Chairman Eric Roberts. Others in attendance were Supervisor Mike Holstrom, Supervisor Kerry Baumgartner, Clerk Brenda Hildebrand, and Treasurer Lori Holmgren.

Pledge allegiance was recited.

Minutes were read and a motion was made by Baumgartner to accept, seconded by Holstrom and carried.

Treasurer’s report was given with a checkbook ending balance of $649,823.34. Baumgartner made a motion to accept, seconded by Holstrom and carried.

Roberts made a motion to approve and pay claims #4993-5006 with payroll, and 3 automatic withdrawals. It was seconded by Holstrom and carried.

Supervisor Roberts was in contact with Dirk Foster. He received a permit to pump 50,000,000 gallons of water to pump out of Twin Lake into Amor Lake north of the town hall. This is to help with flooding and erosion.

Holstrom and Baumgartner went to the District 9 MAT meeting. There is new funding for townships to apply for American Rescue Plan (ARP). Holmgren filled out the form and will send it in. Money is for special projects to help with costs. Funds are available until 2024 if approved.

Clerk will check on insurance audit form. She will file if needed.

Holstrom will get an ad ready and placed for the sprayer and trailer. It will be on sealed bids.

Roads- Gravel has been ordered and is being put down. We will need to bill Dead Lake Twp. for work done on 340th St. The plow truck is being repaired and will be DOT.

Fire Report- Nothing really report.

Park Report- Oak tree went down by the swim access. Called Carr’s Tree Service to remove and grind stump. They came out 2 days later. Dock and tables are still out for September. No reservations after September 20th.

With no further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned at 7:51pm.
