Amor Township Minutes for

May 12, 2021

Meeting was called to order by Chairman Eric Roberts. Others in attendance were Supervisor Mike Holstrom, Supervisor Kerry Baumgartner, Clerk Brenda Hildebrand, Treasurer Lori Holmgren, Catherine Barner and Arne Gumnestad.

Pledge allegiance was recited.

Minutes were read and a motion was made by to accept Holstrom, seconded by Baumgartner and carried.

Treasurer’s report was given with a checkbook ending balance of $862,983.88. Holstrom made a motion to accept seconded by Roberts and carried.

Holstrom made a motion to approve and pay claims #4914-4939 and 4 automatic withdrawals and payroll. It was seconded by Roberts and carried.

The well was not working, Robertson Well Drilling came and repaired it.

Catherine Barner and Arne Gumnestad came to discuss the trail on West Point Trail and Eldorado Beach Road. Board will keep the recommendations in mind when completing the project.

Roberts worked on the culvert on 340th Ave. He put a grate in the culvert and will keep checking it.

Holstrom will check on pricing a packer for the new grader.

Holstrom gave the fire report.

The back room needs to be finished for electrical. Baumgartner will check with C and D Electric to get it finished.

Some Complaints about the gravel roads. Without rain it is hard to keep them in shape.

Hildebrand gave the park report. Everything is up and ready to go. There are several reservations already for the summer.
