Amor Township Minutes For

December 8, 2021

Meeting was called to order by Chairman Eric Roberts. Other in attendance were Supervisor Mike Holstrom, Supervisor Kerry Baumgartner, Clerk Brenda Hildebrand, and Treasurer Lori Holmgren, and Jim Olson.

Pledge allegiance was recited.

Minutes were read and a motion was made Holstrom to accept, seconded by Baumgartner and carried.

Treasurer’s report was given with a checkbook ending balance of $682,571.85 Baumgartner made a motion to accept, seconded by Holstrom and carried.

Baumgartner made a motion to approve and pay claims #5037-5048, and 2 achs. Roberts seconded and carried.

Clerk reminded Supervisors of the West Otter Tail County Annual Meeting for townships.

Holstrom gave the fire report. Nothing new.

Road Report- Riley Christensen resigned as the operator of the snow plow and grader. He is too busy to do the job effectively. Board discussed options and will decide what to do in the next couple months.

Still working on getting the plow to fit the new grader. Discussion on what to do. May need to just buy a new plow that is made for the grader and not try to fabricate and make the old one fit.

Roberts made a motion to approve the special hearing for vacating the alley on several properties on Eldorado Beach Road and Roinez Trail. Meeting will be Jan 12, 2022 at the townhall during the monthly meeting. It was seconded by Holstrom and carried.

Roberts will check on getting a new furnace for the meeting and office area of the hall. The current heaters have been replaced several times and are not working properly. He will get info for next meeting.

Board made a motion to approve the alteration petition by Jeffrey Heyen. The Special meeting was held on November 20, 2021 at 10am at the site.

Motion was carried.

With no further business to discuss the meeting was adjourned at 8:01pm.
