The board will have a letter sent out to all property owners on the roads that will be affected by the trail issue on West Point Trail and Eldorado Beach Road. A zoom meeting can be made for those who can not attend the meeting on this issue in the coming months.  More information will be available next month after the letters are sent and returned.

Clerk received an email from Country Financial stating that they would no longer be carrying the township insurance. The audit that was needed was not completed to their satisfaction and they had discontinued the coverage as of July. Hildebrand then notified Baumgartner and Holstrom immediately and Holstrom was able to bond insurance coverage through MAT with better coverage for the township at a similar rate for previous coverage.  Premium is $3,360.00 for a year. Roberts made a motion to go with MAT Insurance, Baumgartner seconded and carried.

Holstrom gave the fire report. All the new gear has arrived. Rescue Squad is looking at getting a new recue vehicle like a SUV type. Four-wheel drive is needed sometimes. The full minutes are on file with the clerk.

Holstrom motioned to have the Board of Audit on Feb. 10, 2021 after the monthly meeting. Baumgartner seconded it and carried.

Clerk noticed the gas furnaces were not working in the bathroom and office areas. Baumgartner will call the repair man.

Clerk asked if a slop sink could be put in the shop for washing up after working on machinery. The sink in the bathroom is too small and it gets really dirty. Motion was made by Roberts to go ahead and do it. Seconded by Holstrom and carried. Holstrom will look into it.

Holstrom made a motion to set up a new email for the township. There have been problems with the account from Park Region. The clerk has been using her personal account to get township emails.  Clerk will look into get business cards with new email on them. Roberts seconded and carried.

With no further business to discuss the meeting was adjourned at 8:00pm.
