Amor Township Road Report

2020

The roads were all in fair condition from 2019. We replaced and added a culvert and repaired damage that the beaver had done to the remaining culverts on Amor Township Drive. We replace several other culverts in other areas on township roads. We used the gravel we had remaining from last year. Chloride was placed in areas of high traffic and for property owners that had asked and paid for it ahead of time. The township pays half of the bill for the property owners. The treatment helps keep the road in better shape. All roads are in satisfactory condition at this time. We added a mile and ½ of new township road, Walker Lake Preserve Drive.

The following are the expenses for 2020:

Grading- $5,120.79

Snow plowing- $2,735.85

Fuel- $2,427.52

Chemical treatments for roads- $6,996.00

Equipment purchases and parts- $23,780.52

Salt and Sand-$1003.60

Culverts-$8,372.40

1/1/2021

The board is looking into replacing the grader with a newer model. All other equipment is in good working order at this time. Chloride treatment will be available again this year. It must be prepaid.
